At this amazing 3 day event, students will have the opportunity to learn from 6 instructors on teams of two each. Here are our dynamic pairs:

Kate Sullivan of Cake Power and Patti Paige of Baked Ideas 
  • Ron Ben-Israel of Ron Ben-Israel Cakes and Elisa Strauss of Confetti Cakes

These acclaimed talents of the industry will focus solely on assisting you in creating beautiful NYC themed masterpieces and honing a skill-set that will translate to future projects! Instructors will create the projects utilizing actual cake and students will work with cake dummy mediums to ensure that projects will be able to be used for display and future reference.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced. If you have very little experience decorating cakes, this class is not optimal for you.

CLASS SIZE: Your class will be compromised of no more than 20 students and rotate to a different project each day of the cake decorating weekend. 

SUPPLIES & MATERIALS: With the exception of a few basic items listed below for Ron Ben-Israel & Elisa Strauss’ class, ALL SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED!!!!! 
What Should You Bring: 

  • For Ron & Elisa’s Class: 18in rolling pin, paring knife, serrated knife, fondant smoothers & turntable.

  • A fabulous attitude.  

  • An apron (if you so choose).  
  • Lunch 
  • Cash (if you desire to purchase items from the course that the teachers will have available for sale) 

*Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

  • Friday, April 10th class will begin at 9:30 and conclude at 5:30pm. 

  • Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th class will begin at 9am and conclude at 5pm.
